Clay, water, shade. That is the whole thing. మట్టి, నీళ్లు, నీడ. ఇంతే.

Potters shape it and fire it by hand. You pour water. The wet clay cools the inside — cooler and more humid than the yard outside. Produce stays good longer. కుమ్మరులు చేతితో చేసి కాలుస్తారు. మీరు నీళ్లు పోస్తారు. తడి మట్టి లోపల చల్లగా, తేమగా ఉంచుతుంది. పంట ఎక్కువ రోజులు నిలుస్తుంది.

No electricity. No deep-cold damage. It sits next to where you stack the crates. కరెంటు లేదు. మరీ చల్లదనం గాయం లేదు. పెట్టెలు పేర్చే చోటే ఉంచుతారు.
